OptoDrum offers a user-friendly solution as a substitute for traditional optokinetic drums or tape for inducing optokinetic nystagmus to assess neurological, otological, and opthalmological conditions. The application involves placing an iPhone displaying a moving pattern in front of the patient's eye to trigger the desired response. Users can conveniently adjust the stripe pattern, width, and speed to suit their needs.

OptoDrum features five different patterns: black stripes, red stripes, mixed colors, symbols, and animal images.
The speed of the pattern can be controlled by dragging a finger up or down the screen, matching the movement with finger gestures.
A double-tap on the screen freezes the pattern in motion instantly.
Precision adjustments to the pattern's size can be made by pinching or zooming using two fingers on the screen.
Users can easily switch between patterns by swiping left or right when a pattern is stopped, transitioning to the next in line.
